PRESIDIANS EXPERIENCE THE SPIRIT OF DEVOTION ON GURPURAB
Celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's great life, Guru Nanak Jayanti or Gurpurab is celebrated with much excitement at Presidium every year. To rejoice the birthday of this renowned 1st Sikh Guru, who was the founder of Sikhism, the Presidians came packed with the spirit of devotion and joy. They spread a divine ambience by leading Nagar Kirtans and Prabhat Feris across all the branches of Presidium. Overall, it was a blissful experience for everyone.
LEARNING THE ART OF RECYCLING AT 'BEST OUT OF WASTE COMPETITION'

In an initiative to generate the habit of using old things to create beautiful crafts among-st children, a concept which has global significance, a 'best out of waste competition' was recently organized at Presidium. Inviting creative art and craft ideas like a tea pot and a cup, slippers from straws, hat, paper vase, festival decorations, wall hangings, greeting cards, toys and paper jewellery, the fun-filled contest ignited their artistic potential. A learning experience for all, the competition promoted creativity and artistic excellence in our leaders of tomorrow.
WEST DELHI ITF TAEKWONDO FINALS 2017:PRESIDIANS WIN GOLD & SILVER

Packed with the same passion towards winning, 3 of our talented Presidians of Dwarka 22 won 2 gold and 1 silver medal in the 1st West Zone Delhi ITF Taekwondo Championship 2017. Held at Dilli Haat, Janak Puri on 24th August 2017, the competition witnessed a huge participation of 350 students from various schools. While Vaibhav Jain and Shubhangum from 5th grade won Gold Medals, Mohit Jain from 4th grade bagged a Silver Medal.

SPORTS DAY STRENGTHENS FRIENDLINESS & TEAM SPIRIT AT PRESIDIUM

To impart a sense of discipline, fellow-feeling, and togetherness, Annual Sports Day was recently organized at Presidium. Packed with unmatched zeal and zest, the students participated in this much-awaited sports event featuring splendid field displays and mass student participation. The Presidians proactively competed in various sports activities including 50 metres sprint, relay race, high jump, long jump, pole vault and 100 meter race. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and extraordinary efforts in sports, the day illustrated the fact that 'gold medals aren't really made of gold; they're made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts'.

After working very hard to make their school proud with their extraordinary achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities, our talented Presidians deserved a bag full of appreciation. A grand ceremony - the CHAIRPERSON HONOURS was recently organized at Presidium to build confidence and strengthen the students’ determination to achieve more. Packed with overwhelm and excitement, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the honorable Chairperson of Presidium, congratulated more than 700 young scholars with certificates of recognition. Receiving such a majestic honour and seeing their parents relish every moment of this unforgettable experience, the eyes of our 'leaders of tomorrow' twinkled with a sense of pride, happiness and accomplishment.

GIRL POWER OF PRESIDIUM STRIKES BRONZE AT TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Presidium feels immensely proud to mentor such brilliant champions, who have proved their mettle yet again. In a recently organized table tennis tournament, the girl power of Presidium won bronze medal in under 14 girls category. The tough team was represented by the young achievers Aarohi Saxena and Sia Saini from grade 8 and Kasak jain and Minal Hota from grade 7. Held at Path Finder Global School, Pataudi, the competition witnessed humongous participation of students from 16 schools but our gifted tennis stars performed amazingly well.

DIWALI GALA SPREADS THE RAYS OF BRIGHTNESS & BLISS AT PRESIDIUM
To celebrate the victory of good over evil, the 'leaders of tomorrow' recently came together on the delightful festival of Diwali. The celebrations began with decorating the school premises wonderfully, which created an auspicious aura filled with festive vibrations. It was spellbinding to see the concern of Presidians towards our environment as they promoted the slogan ‘say no to crackers’ and pledged to celebrate the 'festival of lights' with only Diyas for a environment-friendly spark and brightness.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE DIWALI WITH HON’BLE CHIEF MINISTER OF DELHI
To celebrate the glittering festival of Diwali, our young Presidians went to meet the honourable chief minister of Delhi, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. The ‘leaders of tomorrow’ confidently greeted the esteemed dignitary and received an equal amount of love and warmth in reciprocation. Wishing a blissful and sparkling Diwali to Mr. Kejriwal, our young ones accumulated tons of blessings and loads of wishes in return.
PRESIDIANS OBSERVE MENTAL HEALTH DAY UNDER SUDHA MAM'S TUTELAGE
Considering that untreated and undiagnosed depression is the leading cause of suicide and third leading cause of death among teenagers, adolescent mental health should be on top priority for schools as their present wellbeing directly affects their and our country's future. On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Presidium recently organized a 'Mind Your Mind' workshop to spread awareness about the importance of positive mental health and equip adolescents with skills to cope effectively with stressors.
The honourable chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta also graced the event, along with many renowned external experts. Firmly believing in the importance of investing in the emotional health of 'leaders of tomorrow', the dignitaries addressed more than 200 11th and 12th grade students from Presidium and other schools in Gurgaon in this impeccable experience of healthy interaction, mutual learning and live sessions on dance and expressive arts therapy. It was heartwarming to see the youngsters getting transformed into more aware and empowered students, who can perform at their highest potential, enhance their emotional and mental wellbeing and embrace positivity.
