The positive relation between creativity and academic achievement is a significant lesson for the education fraternity and an important guiding light for developing teaching methodologies for new age India.
TEACHER TRAINING KEY IN RAISING LEADERS
Teachers build the capacities and capabilities of students. A teacher’s empowerment directly reflects on students’ learning. Following this principle, our teachers ensure that they continue to learn to be able to teach better. This summer they undertook enriching and knowledgeable workshops with a series of discussions, interactions and video presentations so as to augment their ability in identifying different ways in which they can fortify students’ strength and raise them as future leaders. Such well-designed training programmes lead to enhanced teaching-learning process inside and outside the classrooms. The teachers also recognise that their role is not limited to the cognitive development of the student, but they also play a crucial role in the emotional development and psychological wellbeing of the child. These workshops pay special attention towards enhancing their expertise in motivating and counselling students and pave the way for shaping powerful leaders and successful achievers.

PRESIDIANS UNITE TO RAISE AWARENESS ON DIGNITY OF LABOUR
“By recognizing the debt of gratitude we owe others, we learn the way of humanity.” Mark T. Mitchell
The senior students from Presidium, came together to raise awareness about the rights and dignity of labourers in India, through posters and slogans. The labourers toil hard to fulfil the necessities of our society but their work remains largely unrecognized. Students participated in the inter club activity and as a mark of respect and gratitude towards the working class they came up with powerful posters and slogans on the subject like ‘Work should mean dignity not poverty’; ‘No thanks to the rich, thank the working class’ etc. Through such activities students learn to take a step towards becoming responsible citizens who recognise the problems and sufferings of the lesser fortunate in the society.
