HOLI REVELS BRIGHTEN UP THE PRESIDIUM'S CORRIDORS WITH VIVID HUES
With the message of colouring everyone alike and getting beyond the social discriminations, our young Presidians celebrated the beautiful festival of Holi. They coloured their classmates and friends with floral gulaals and enjoyed an amalgamation of entertainment and information in a special assembly, wherein the religious significance of Holi and the victory of good over evil was highlighted. Emphasizing on the need of precaution and safety, the students informed the audience on how to make herbal colours with natural flowers and homemade products. The corridors of Presidium became Vrindawan and our students, young Gwalas and Gopis!
PRESIDIANS RELISH AN AMUSING & KNOWLEDGEABLE PICNIC EXPERIENCE
Along with countless social benefits, picnics are a great way to spend quality time and create memories of togetherness!
Considering this, our young Presidians of all branches were recently taken on a fun-filled school picnic to various locations including Adventure Island, Worlds of Wonders and Fun N Food Village. In the endearing company of their classmates and teachers, they cordially mingled and enjoyed the bus journey while singing songs and cracking jokes. The students had an exhilarating experience on different amusing rides and relished the delicious refreshments. Everyone came back with a bag full of the fun-filled moments in their cameras and hearts!
PRESIDIUM STANDS FOR ONENESS ON WORLD DAY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE
SPIRITUAL AMBIANCE DAWNS AT PRESIDIUM WITH ETHOS OF MAHASHIVRATRI
Celebrating the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, the festival of Mahashivratri was rejoiced with a special assembly at Presidium. Charged with the spiritual vibes, the Presidians decorated a Shiva Idol in the school temple with lots of fresh flowers and the fragrant aroma of incense sticks added an extra energy to the already spiritual atmosphere. Dressed up in beautiful attires, they chanted the sacred mantra ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ and danced to the tune of 'Satyam Shivam Sundram', highlighting the powers and the role of Lord Shiva in the natural cycle.
PRESIDIANS PROVE THEIR METTLE AT THE NATIONAL POWERLIFTING FINALS

Packed with such high hopes and confidence, our young students recently added one more glory to Presidium's name. 5 students of Presidium Indirapuram participated in the 63rd School Games Federation of India Powerlifting National Championship 2017-18, held at Secunderabad. 400 students from other schools participated in the championship, but it gives us great happiness and pride in sharing the big wins of our young Presidians with you:
1. Rajvardhan Ranawat of grade XI bagged second position in 66kg body weight, under-17 boys category. He lifted 345 kg.
2. Yashna Chopra of grade IX bagged second position in 72 kg body weight, under-17 girls category. She lifted 175 kg.
3. Simran Kaur of class XI bagged fourth position in 57 kg body weight, under-19 girls category. She lifted 200 kg.
4. Tanishq Sharma of class IX bagged fourth position in +93 kg body weight, under-17 boys category. He lifted 407.5 kg.
5. Parth Rahul Solanki of class X bagged fourth position in +120 kg body weight, under-19 boys category. He lifted 345 kg.

SECOND PLACE IN LOTUS VALLEY CRICKET TOURNAMENT RIVETS PRESIDIANS

With the same spirit, the Under-12 Cricket Team of Presidium Gurugram recently participated and bagged the second prize in an Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organized by Lotus Valley International School. 6 teams from Delhi and NCR, which scored maximum points, were allowed to participate in this prestigious tournament. The grand win is incomplete without a special mention to our captain, who not only responsibly took charge of the team and tried to bring out the very best in them, but also switched roles between wicket keeping and bowling efficiently, giving his very best at both the roles.

To acquaint our students with the importance of science and make it interesting for them, Presidium recently celebrated a fun-filled Science Week. This remarkable event not only inspired the young Presidians to take up studies and careers in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, but also took science out of the lab. With lots of exuberance, dynamism and conscientiousness, they presented creative science models. Their astonishing and remarkable ingenuity enthralled all the teachers with the range of display, covering extensive themes of their curriculum and prolific, imaginative demonstrations. Motivating the leaders of tomorrow to engage with science at home and in the classroom, the Science Week gave them an opportunity to envisage what else is possible.
OUR ACE COWBOY NIRBHAY WINS THE NATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy recently organized the Junior National Equestrian Championship and Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship. Featuring thrilling competitions of three-day dressage and cross-country race, the stupendous competition received humongous participation from brilliant young horse riders from all over India. We feel immensely proud to announce that Nirbhay Singh of grade 10 from Presidium Gurgaon won Gold Medal in this national-level championship, held at Bhopal.

A CELEBRATION OF IMAGINATION AT PUPPET MAKING COMPETITION

To encourage imagination and creativity amongst our young students, a Puppet Making Competition was recently organized at Presidium. The students overwhelmingly participated in the competition and came up with various kinds of puppets like sock puppets, stick puppets and cloth puppets, using their creativity with the recycled materials like colour paper, ice cream sticks, gloves and velvet cloth. Some of the themes taken up by the students were family, animals, birds and cartoon characters. Developing the creative talents of our Presidians, the fun-filled competition also encouraged their craftsmanship and artfulness.
