DELHI STATE ITF TAEKWONDO FINALS: PRESIDIANS BRING HOME 40 MEDALS

At Presidium, we believe in raising the generation of these extraordinary 'others', who can make it happen! When our young Presidians of Gurgaon 57 recently participated and won a total of 40 medals in the 29th Delhi State ITF Taekwondo Championship 2017-18, it was indeed a very proud moment for the entire Presidium family. Our budding martial artists not only won 8 GOLD medals, but also bagged 9 silver and 23 bronze medals.

FUN-FILLED MATH WEEK AT SCHOOL: EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AT ITS BEST

At Presidium, we aim at providing experiential learning in the classroom through a myriad of activities and resources. Our students recently got yet another amazing experience of learning Mathematics in a fun-filled Math Week, wherein they participated in various activities like formation of shapes & patterns using tan-grams of Jodo Gyan Kit, addition & subtraction of single digit numbers using dice, calculation of elapse time using lock, and model formation of a scale. Coming up with innovative models, the Presidians learnt a lot with these enjoyable activities comprising of innovative methods and techniques.
KUDOS PARI FOR GRABBING GOLD IN 2ND NATIONAL YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP
We feel proud to share that our grade 4 students, Pari Bagla from Presidium Dwarka 22 recently won the prestigious gold medal in 2nd National Yoga Championship. Organised by Yog Sports Association of India, the championship witnessed grand participation of 1000 students from 12 States of India.

FESTIVE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL SOAKS PRESIDIANS IN DELIGHT
The magical merry festive season has begun and recently soaked our young students at the fun-filled Christmas Carnival, held at various schools of Presidium from 23rd to 25th December, 2017. To cherish and to celebrate the festive glory, Presidians came together with their parents, teachers and friends and enjoyed the revels to the fullest by participating in fun games, foot tapping music, lip smacking food stalls, magic show, fashion show, and much more. The breathtaking performances given by our talented Presidians stole the show and the celebrations were truly, a joyful experience for all!
THE LOVELY FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS WRAPS PRESIDIUM IN FESTIVE HUES

To celebrate the festive season with their adorable friends and loving teachers, our young Presidians recently came together. They indulged in captivating decorations, sang beautiful Christmas carols and participated in various club activities, which enthralled the audience with a distinct celebrative ethos. Rejoicing the day with immeasurable jubilation, the leaders of tomorrow also relished the spirit of sharing and spreading goodness together.
PRESIDIUM RAISING A GENERATION OF AVID READERS

Considering the benefits of being a good reader, Presidium recently celebrated a much-awaited annual event - ONRT (One Nation Reading Together), organized by Scholastics, India. In this book reading event, students across the country spend 30 minutes reading together. Everyone in the school including our young Presidians, teachers and staff took the ‘reading pledge’, post which they started reading with complete concentration and silence. Some students also shared their experience by writing their comments on the Graffiti Wall. It was a great experience for all!
YOUNG FOOTBALLERS OF PRESIDIUM ALL SET TO REPRESENT NORTH ZONE

Packed with such a thirst for victory, the Under-14 Sub-Junior Girls Football Team of Presidium Ashok Vihar recently participated in Stairs Football Tournament 2017-18. We congratulate these proficient young footballers for winning all the matches and becoming the winner of North Zone. Held at Keshav Puram recently, the grand football championship received a huge participation of contenders from different schools.
Kudos to the team, who will soon represent North Zone in the finals!
YOUNG PRESIDIANS EXHIBIT THEIR BRILLIANT VOCABULARY AT SPELLATHON
Tell me I forget, Teach me I remember, Involve me and I learn!
Learning and revising spellings cements the connection between letters and their sounds, which further improves reading and writing fluency of children. Keeping this in mind, a fun-filled Spellathon Competition was recently organized for our young students at Presidium. The Presidians proactively participated in several activities like hunting the missing letters, complete the word, word hunt and the correct word from the given jumbled letters. Motivating them to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary and honing their pronunciation skills, the competition prepared them as effective communicators of the future.
INTER-CLASS TALENT HUNT NURTURES PRESIDIANS' INTRINSIC GIFTS

To provide a platform to our budding stars to express themselves creatively through singing, dancing, storytelling, acts and role plays, a Talent Hunt Competition was recently organized at Presidium. Serving as a powerful medium of developing the Presidians' confidence and personality in a holistic manner, the experience received humongous participation. The students came dressed up in vibrant and colourful attires to perform confidently in a captivating manner with different props and their energy on stage was commendable. Watching each other's performance instilled a healthy competitive spirit in the students as it inspired them to perform better. It was heartening to see our leaders of tomorrow on the stage giving voice to their talents, aiming to improve with each experience.
