We, at Presidium, believe in bridging every gap requisite to
foster excellence in education. Apart from various educational workshops for
students, many qualitative workshops are organised for our management staff
like the 3-day leadership program on ‘Preparing leaders for the future learning
society’. This program was conducted by Prof. Handoo at India International
Centre from 19th to 21st June with the guidance of Dr. Arora, Maj Gen Dhir, Ms.
Nidhi Sirohi, Ms. Neera Mathur, Mr. Balasubramanium, Dr. Avtar Singh and Mr.
Vikram Dutt. Around 50 Heads of schools across the country were present for the
same. Various assignments based on SWOT Analysis, Teaching Aptitude Test, Your
leadership style, spiritually centered leadership, ten traits of successful
Principals, The right to lead and POCSO Act 2012 served as an appetizer to this
training session.
In addition to the informative sessions on Current
approaches to leadership, changing roles of school Principals, Developing
resonant leadership in schools, 21st century schools, Vision to action in
Education, Disciplinary procedure-dealing with delinquent employee, Leadership
styles and pragmatic leadership, Top qualities of a Principal and POCSO Act,
there were interesting interaction and meaningful sharing sessions within the
learned team members. In-fact, various case studies related to real life
situations were taken up wherein everyone discussed and worked out common
solutions. It was realised that Presidium is heading in right direction, rather
more streamlined than other schools. Overall, the sessions were really
informative and empowered everybody to perform better in order to take their
institutions to the next level.
