It was a remarkable journey for Presidians, who visited NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in USA. A group of more than 100 students became a part of this scientific escapade where they learned and explored extensively about Space Science through this educational tour. The trip provided them oodles of excitement and fun, a chance to understand culture and diversity of another country and opened wide doors of educational opportunities for them. Students spent three days at Kennedy Space Centre, where they got opportunity to learn about NASA, the past, present and future of space exploration. The main highlights were up close tour of NASA launch and landing facility. Also, they witnesses rocket launches and learned about robotics and GPS devices. They even got a chance to meet veteran astronauts. Children also got the opportunity to explore iconic locations visiting famous sights such as – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Disney world, Universal Studios, Niagara Falls, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and Museum of Natural History. To sum it up, it was a very engaging and educative tour with lot of memorable moments captured and cherished, which will be treasured for long.
