THEME ‘TEXTILES’ BUILDS PRESIDIANS’ KNOWLEDGE ON DIVERSE TOPICS

Textiles are a reflection of the culture of our society. They are also an essential part of our daily life. To enlighten the students about each corner of the textile industry, the students of Presidium were taught about the various embroideries like Phulkari, Chikankari, Kashifa Kari, etc. The students were also taught about stitched-unstitched clothes and various fashion designers in India. They also performed a virtual activity of "Designing my favorite dress." Apart from enhancing their knowledge about the textile industry, all these activities served as a catalyst to encourage creativity in students and offered them a platform to show their skills.
