The month of July is here for all of us with exciting things in store. It is time again for parents, teachers and children to experience a whole new world of knowledge in the most interesting ways. Here is a glimpse of what we are going to do in this month to make it unforgettable like every other month of the year.
* Projects for the month:
1. My school rocks
This will be a fun project allowing children to explore more about their loved school. The Presidians will share their favourite things about Presidium which may be their teacher, a subject, an activity, their best friend or some beautiful experiences they cherish each day in school.
There will also be a questionnaire on the school. This project will let them express profound love and pride for their school.
2. Be courageous
This is a project to make our Presidians confident and brave in life. Children will watch an inspiring smart board presentation on 'Being Courageous'. Teachers will share some important tips with students for being fearless. Thereafter children will attempt something that they were fearful to do before. They will create an action plan for themselves which will make them overcome their fears. They will also do a worksheet on the same which will further help them in their plan.
* Assembly Topics
Assembly is a significant part of every day in Presidium Senior Secondary School. Some important topics will be discussed with children in the morning assembly which include:.
i. Hazards of overpopulation
ii. Rainy season
iii. Keeping fit- aerobics activity
iv. Be what you want to be
The mornings will be made fruitful with enlightening information about important issues. Along with this, Presidians will have a gala time stretching and jumping in their aerobics activity.
* Special Day Celebrations
1. International Joke Day
July 17th, 2010 will be celebrated as the International Joke Day. Presidians of class nursery to 1st will attend an amusing workshop on humour by a Mc Donald's professionals. Tongue twisters and sharing of jokes with each other will make this day remarkable.
2. Friendship Day
Presidians will cherish one of the most beautiful relationships of life, 'friendship'. July 31st, 2010 will be celebrated as Friendship Day in the school.
