To mark a day that highlights the fact that each individual, irrespective of caste, class, colour etc, has the right to education and a right to be literate, the students at Presidium commemorated the 52nd World Literacy Day by conducting a special assembly. Presidians presented speeches highlighting the importance of education for the growth of an individual as well as the country. A skit was performed showcasing the difficulties an uneducated person faces. The assembly concluded with a pledge to help spread the elixir of knowledge and literacy.
EXPRESSING ENDLESS APPRECIATION FOR ALL MENTORS ON TEACHERS’ DAY
A gifted teacher is not only prepared to meet the needs of a child’s today but also foresees the hopes and dreams in every child’s future. Their presence uplifts us, their dedication drives us to aim for the stars. They inspire us to become good human beings, who can be an inspiration for a hundred others. On Teachers’ Day, Presidians paid a tribute to all the hardworking Gurus who have been the pillar of support for them and have always lead them on the path to success. It is because of them that they join the school as Presidians and but leave as leaders of tomorrow. The students expressed gratitude and love for their extraordinary teachers by dedicating a special assembly to them. They showcased the role of teachers in a student’s life and also added a personal touch by sharing their views on how their teachers have transformed lives with their influence.

Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. A teacher is the heart of the education system. The honourable Chairperson of Presidium is the pioneer of the education system of this school and has been an inspiration for all the teachers who dedicate their lives to ignite the fire of knowledge in children. The Presidians were overjoyed to celebrate Teacher’s Day with their beloved Sudha Ma’am. They expressed gratitude to Ma’am way and made the day worth remembering. Sudha Ma’am blessed the students and gifted them chocolates.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF LORD KRISHNA WITH SUDHA MA’AM
The festival of Janmashtami filled our young Presidians with high spirits and they were delighted to celebrate the ethos of this occasion with Mrs Sudha Gupta, the honourable Chairperson of Presidium. They exchanged warm wishes of Janmashtami with Ma’am who joined them for the Aarti to invoke the blessings of Lord Krishna. They were elated to swing the ‘Bal Gopal’ on a ‘jhoola’ decorated beautifully with flowers. The melodious songs and bhajans sung by the students created an aura of gaiety.
PRESIDIANS DELIGHTFULLY PERFORM THE RITUALS OF JANMASHTAMI
The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm as a special assembly was organised to celebrate the festivities of this occasion. Adorned in traditional attires, the Presidians wonderfully donned the roles of Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopikas and turned the stage into Vrindavan. An enthralling skit was also performed wherein the students depicted the various facets of Lord Krishna’s ‘leela’. The corridors of Presidium brimmed with a spiritual essence as the students performed the rituals of the ‘Maha Arti’ and sung ‘Jai Kunj Bihari Ji Ki’, invoking the blessings of the Almighty.

The festival of Raksha Bandhan is the perfect time to express gratitude to your loved ones for always supporting you unconditionally. Our young Presidians celebrated this auspicious festival the honourable Vice President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu and thanked them for his contributions towards the nation. They presented a sapling to the Vice President as a mark of growth, diligence and admiration. Shri Venkaiah Naidu showered his blessings on the budding leaders and urged them to uphold the rich culture of India by celebrating every festival with joy. He also addressed that one must always be proud of being a citizen of such a wonderful country.
SHRI NARENDRA MODI, THE HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA CELEBRATES RAKSHA BANDHAN WITH PRESIDIANS
A great leader inspires greatness in others. One such great leader is the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, our young leaders visited the PM house with their beloved Sudha Ma’am. It was an honour for them to exchange greetings with Shri Narendra Modi who welcomed them with utmost warmth. The students excitedly tied colourful rakhis on Shri.Modi’s wrist and indulged in heart warming conversations with him. Mr.Modi blessed all the students and inspired them to keep seeking for the good in every person and to always uphold the values of love, support and togetherness. This celebration will be cherished by the young hearts forever.
LEADERS MEET SHRI ARVIND KEJRIWAL, CM OF DELHI, ON RAKHSHA BANDHAN
The bond between a brother and sister is an epitome of closeness, warmth, loyalty and trust.
Raksha Bandhan in Sanskrit means ‘a knot of protection’. To celebrate this eternal bond, our Presidians received the opportunity to meet Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi at his residence. The students presented him a sapling as token of love and in the endeavour of green Delhi. The Chief Minister bestowed the students with lovely gifts and also gave a special message of love for the entire Presidium family.

The festival of Raksha Bandhan filled the aura at Presidium with euphoria and the benign presence of our honourable Chairperson Mrs.Sudha Gupta added to the grandeur of the celebrations. Packed with joy, the Presidians warmly welcomed Ma’am and rejoiced the festivities by tying colourful Rakhis on her wrist to express their affection. Sudha Ma’am blessed the students and gave them chocolates to relish the sweetness of this festival. Spending an exhilarating day with Ma’am added to one of the most cherished moments in the students’ book of memories.

PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE BOND OF LOVE ON RAKSHA BANDHAN
Rakshabandhan is the celebration of an enduring promise between siblings to stand by each other through thick & thin and fill each other’s lives with happiness. To mark this celebration of love and affection the Presidians rejoiced the blissful festival of Raksha Bandhan. Adorning in beautiful attires, this pious day was revered by our students as they exchanged sparkling rakhis and cute gifts with each other. A special assembly was also conducted to enlighten them about the history of this festival imbibing traditional values & ethics in them. The students zealously presented skits, speeches & mesmerising dances and expressed their compassion towards their siblings & love for this festival.

This festival of sacrifice is celebrated to mark the unshakeable obedience and faith of Ibrahim in God. Having a similar devotion towards the Almighty, the young Presidians celebrated Eid in the premises with ardor by conducting a special assembly. They zealously performed a skit depicting the religious significance, history, stories and legends, as well as the traditions and customs associated with Eid. After which, mesmerising dance performances filled the aura with euphoria and festive spirit. The day culminated with students happily exchanging ‘Eidi’ in the form of warms wishes and greetings.
