PRESIDIANS ROOT FOR 'HEALTH IS WEALTH' ON THE WORLD HEALTH DAY
To disseminate the idea that the only foundation of success in life is good health, our young Presidians recently presented a special assembly on the occasion of World Health Day, celebrated every year on April 7th. With an aim to draw people's attention towards important health issues faced by the world, the assembly commenced with an informative discussion related to World Health Day and its significance. The students rooted for 'health is wealth' with the help of spectacular performances and encouraged the audience to go healthy!
A NEW SESSION BRINGS A NEW BUNDLE OF HOPES AT PRESIDIUM
The secret of getting ahead is getting started!
To warmly greet young Presidians into a new session full of learning and fun, a day of enthralling games and welcome activities was recently organized. The activities like 'hit the balloon high' and 'hand painting' were focused on recreation, succoring the students to bond along with their peer groups and facilitators. Cordially welcoming the leaders of tomorrow with a traditional tilak, the day positively marked the inception of a new beginning. Inculcating a sense of collective belongingness amongst our dear students, the fun-filled event enabled them to feel the warmth and delectation of their second home!
THE GOLDEN CITY OF AMRITSAR WELCOMES PRESDIANS
Recently, to experience the spiritual heaven of Punjab, our young Presidians took an exciting trip to Amritsar, the golden city of Punjab. To fill their hearts with serenity and peaceful positive vibes, they were taken to the Golden temple and Durgiani temple. A visit to the Jalliawala Bagh and the Wagah Border brought alive patriotic fervour in the leaders of tomorrow. It was truly a lively trip where the students tremendously enjoyed the jovial ambience and flavours of Amritsar through its delectable food and spirited Punjabi culture!
DISTRICT TABLE TENNIS COMPETITION: SAHIL BAGS BRONZE & 3RD RANK

Profound preparation to win was clearly evident in Sahil Godara's wonderful performance at the Central District Table Tennis Competition. A grade 7 student of Presidium Dwarka 22, Sahil won Bronze Medal and achieved 3rd position in the prestigious state-level championship, held at Manav Sthali School, Rajinder Nagar. Competing with more than 270 students of different schools, the sports prodigy got selected for Delhi State Table Tennis Championship.

THE MAGICAL WAND OF APPRECIATION ENHANCES PRESIDIANS' CONFIDENCE
The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness!
To appreciate and acknowledge the qualities of our young students, a special Appreciation Day assembly was recently organized at Presidium. The Presidians were acknowledged with ‘appreciation certificates’, covering 17 qualities, identified by their class teachers. These attributes are courage, creativity, curiosity, confidence, friendliness, leadership, independence, positive attitude, enthusiasm, good behaviour, communication, good behaviour, attentiveness, team spirit, excellence in sports, excellence in dance and taking initiative. This noble idea originates from our honourable chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, who believes that each child has a distinctive quality and it is our responsibility to recognize the same and stimulate each one of them continuously. The event proved that appreciation truly works like a magic wand!
NATIONAL ROLLER SKATING FINALS: PARI BRINGS HOME SILVER & BRONZE

At the recent 50th National Roller Skating Sports Championship 2017-2018, Pari Gulati, a grade 8 student of Presidium, Dwarka 16B proved her extraordinary sportsmanship and will to win. Organized by the renowned Roller Skating Federation of India in Chennai, the grand competition witnessed participation of countless students. The skating prodigy won a silver medal in 10,000m Point to Point Rink Race and a bronze medal in 20,000m Road Race Elimination.

PRESIDIANS FORTIFY THEIR INTRICATE SENSES IN THE LAP OF NATURE
Considering the importance of excursions in engaging the students in active learning experiences, we recently took our students for a garden visit to ensure that children learn through all possible ways, not just through books and classroom teaching. Enabling the young Presidians to use their senses to observe, smell, hear and touch the things present in the garden, the visit offered them an opportunity to understand the characteristics of plants and other elements of a garden. They indulged in several fun-filled activities at this unforgettable experience full of learning and fun and came back with more love and respect for our Mother Nature!
YOUNG YOGIS TO COMPETE IN 14TH NORTHERN INDIA YOGA SPORTS FINALS
Our Presidians yet again swayed the flag of Presidium higher by winning big at the Uttar Pradesh State Yoga Cup 2018 held at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. A total of 690 students participated in this championship, which included 7 of our students from Presidium Indirapuram, who bagged glorious positions in diverse competitions. Furthermore, each one of them got selected for the 14th Northern India Yoga Sports Championship to be held in Delhi. Besides bagging the 'Overall First Place in Girls Group' and 'Overall First Place in Free Flow Yoga Dance' awards, our winners also bagged the following medals:
Bhavi Jain won gold medals in Yoga Asana, Artistic Yoga Solo, Artistic Yoga Pair and Free Flow Yoga Dance. She also won silver medal in Rhythmic Yoga Pair.
Pratiksh won gold medals in Yoga Asana, Artistic Yoga Pair and Free Flow Yoga Dance. He also won silver medals in Artistic Yoga Solo and Rhythmic Yoga Pair. The young Yoga maestro was awarded as 'Ms. Yogini' and the 'Overall UP Best Girl in Yoga Asana', besides a cash prize worth Rs. 5000.
Kanishka Pawar won gold medal in Yoga Asana and bronze medal in Artistic Yoga Pair.
Harshika won gold medals in Yoga Asana and Free Flow Yoga Dance.
Aarna Bansal won gold medal in Free Flow Yoga Dance. She also won silver medal in Yoga Asana and bronze medal in Artistic Yoga Pair.
Dishanya Gupta won gold medal in Free Flow Yoga Dance and bronze medal in Yoga Asana.
Satvik Jain won Bronze Medal in Yoga Asana.

On International Women's Day, women all throughout the world are honoured for the superpower within them, that of being a successful woman with a voice! To appreciate womanhood and celebrate the wonderful women of the world, Presidium conducted a special assembly wherein the students enthusiastically showcased the contribution of women in the advancement of the world through dance performances, story recitals and a musical skit. While the girls were dressed as confident leading ladies of our country, the boys spoke volumes for women succeeding in different spheres of life. The young Presidians not only enjoyed the day with utmost excitement but their gleamy faces reflected pride for all the women and their role in the development of the world.
