It will also increase student engagement with effective use of technology. Google believes that educators are the pivots and more importantly they are the key change agents when it comes to progressing schools to support an environment of open web learning, or a place where using the internet and technology to further learning is widely accepted.
Google Apps for Education is a suite of free productivity tools for classroom collaboration. It includes Classroom, Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and more. Additional domain and user management features can be accessed through the Admin Console and the best part is every product is free of cost. Presidium never misses a chance to acknowledge people for their wonderful contributions and achievements and in the words of our mentor Chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta, “Acknowledgement creates possibility”. Putting these thoughts into action Presidium Annual Sports Day not only facilitated its outstanding National players but also provided an opportunity to the proud parents to be a part of the facilitations because parents are the partners in a child’s success. The Victory Ceremony was a testimony to grit and determination…to tears and smiles as the students received their medals and trophies. While the Elites were declared overall winners, the Legends created history by walking away with the first ever Best March past trophy!
Indeed, champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years that they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their steely will and character. This eventful day culminated with a vote of thanks for the sheer hard work and unwavering support for all those who contributed to make it a grand success, whose memories shall remain etched in our hearts for the years to come.
The Sports Day celebrations at Presidium hope to have sent a strong message that winning isn't the score on the board; its seeing something through the end and then congratulating your opponent!
