PRESIDIUM BAGS 8 MEDALS IN 4TH STATE STUDENT OLYMPIC GAMES
Showing exemplary grit, determination and sports spirit; our champion athletes won 8 medals: 6 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze at the 4th Student Olympic Delhi State Game-2017, held at Raijv Gandhi Stadium; organised by the International Students Olympic Committee. Among 900 children participating from various states all over India, Presidians performed their best and claimed the medals one after the other in various categories.

PRESIDIANS CLAIM 14 MEDALS AT THE STATE LEVEL DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Presidium Gurgaon’s masters of debate and reasoned expression have won the Inter School BEHES Debate championship. They have qualified for national level Finals. Their intellect, reasoning and quick-witted replies gave them a well deserved win.
More than 200 students from schools all over Delhi, participated in the championship and Presidians outshined them and won a total of 14 medals-6 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze. They proudly claimed the Championship Gold trophy and the Overall Best Speaker trophy.

CELEBRATING THE WONDER & MAGIC OF DANCE ON WORLD DANCE DAY
Dance is the hidden language of the soul, perfecting which liberates us!
Presidium is an institution that believes in fostering love, respect and appreciation for all art forms in students. Dance being one of most ancient and celebrated art forms of India, it is deeply engrained in its culture and heritage. To celebrate the beautiful art form and set a platform to showcase the traditional Indian classical dance forms, Presidium celebrated World Dance Day in association with Spic Macay.
Enlivened by the performances of various renowned dance maestros-Bharatnatyam dancer, Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan; Odissi dancer, Smt. Ranjana Gauhar; Kuchipudi dancer, Smt. Meenu Thakur; Kathak exponent, Km. Mahua Sarkar; Kathak exponent, Smt. Ragni Chandrashekhar; the stage was lit up by their beautiful performances. Witnessing the wondrous and magical performances, Presidians were in awe of the dance Gurus and were inspired by their devoted pursuit of the art form. The maestros briefed them about the intricacies of the mudras and steps of various classical dance forms of India. The interaction proved to be a learning experience for Presidians as they brushed up their knowledge about the art of self-expression and weaving stories through dance.
The transcendent experience developed a deep sense of respect in students for the rich cultural heritage of India, its traditional classical dance forms; and admiration for dance as a performing art.
PRESIDIUM DWARKA 22 WINS THE INTER PRESIDIUM BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

Presidium’s badminton court was packed with action for 3 days, which saw exciting matches and extraordinary winning shots being played by Presidians at the Inter Presidium Badminton tournament-2017.
Presidium Dwarka 22 lifted the Overall Championship trophy by 11 points, Dwarka 16B stood at second position with 9 points; and Faridabad and Indirapuram shared the third position at 5 points each.
The winning teams in various categories are:
1.The Under 12 Girls category was won by Dwarka 22 with Runner-up as Dwarka 16b and 2nd Runner-up as Gurgaon 57.
2.The Under 12 Boys category was won by Presidium Indirapuram with Runner-up as Dwarka 16B and 2nd Runner-up as Presidium Hisar
3.The Under 14 Boys was won by Dwarka 16b with Runner-up as Dwarka 22 and 2nd Runner-up Indirapuram.
4.The Under 14 Girls was won by Faridabad with Runner-up as Dwarka 22 and 2nd Runner-up as Gurgaon 57.
Presidium believes that academic learning and sports compliment each other. The institution follows a comprehensive educational approach that includes sports as an important pillar of education. The tournament was organised in sync with this approach. Sports are an important contributor in developing the overall personality of students. Other than sportsmanship, it promotes the qualities of leadership, sharing, team spirit and tolerance in students. Sports should essentially be included as a part of school curriculum for students of all ages.
PRESIDIANS WIN 11 MEDALS AT STATE TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP
Taekwondo masters of Presidium, Dwarka 22, have written their victory in bold letters at the Open Delhi State Taekwondo Championship- 2017, by claiming more than 11 medals- 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. More than 250 students from 19 schools participated in the championship, out of which our ace taekwondo champs, stole the show by claiming one medal after the other and registered a glorious victory at the championship.

'ONE EARTH, ONE LIFE TO SAVE IT’-DECLARE PRESIDIANS

With a message to save and protect Mother Earth, Presidians joined hands at the initiative to celebrate Earth Week at the school premises. They pushed forward the motto of ‘one earth, one life to save it’. Together they reflected on the current state of events and the efforts required to save the environment through various colourful posters and slogans*. It was a wonderful sight to see the young environmental leaders initiating to strive towards the meaningful and purposeful cause of saving their Mother Earth.
CROWNING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW AT THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY
If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
With this belief, an Investiture ceremony was organised at Presidium where the senior students of the school were recognized for their promising leadership and extraordinary contribution to the school. They were granted with the responsibility to lead their school through the Student Council.
At the ceremony Mrs. Sudha Gupta, very proudly, designated various esteemed badges to young Presidians, giving them various responsibilities to lead, guide and show the way.
The various roles endowed on them were School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, and President Social Cause and President of Clubs. The Junior Council members were also given significant responsibilities to encourage them to learn to lead and take initiative at a young age. The parents were extremely proud and overwhelmed with joy to see their wards take on leadership responsibilities with such grace and dignity.
The ceremony is held every year to give an opportunity to the students to lead and set an example with their commitment, confidence and capability for their peers who would follow in their footsteps.
CHAIRPERSON HONOURS 700 VICTORIOUS STUDENTS OF PRESIDIUM
The hearts of proud parents were swelled with pride as they cheered for their wards while they were awarded, appreciated and recognised for their talents, achievements and their hard work at the Chairperson Honours April 2017. Their enthusiastic claps were a testimony to the overwhelming and proud moment.
At the ceremony, the Hon’ble Chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, felicitated the winner students who have aced in various fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. An exceptional educationist and an inspiring leader, Mrs. Gupta congratulated them and motivated them to always strive for excellence. She also inspired them to have immense confidence and the unshakeable belief to achieve their dreams.
Appreciation is the greatest motivator! ‘Chairperson Honours’ ceremony at Presidium is an occasion to celebrate student achievements. These honours are a way to recognize and appreciate them; thus, motivating them and their peers to reach the top with unmatched dedication, hard work and talent.

On another prodigious mark of a new journey at Noida, Mrs. Sudha Gupta warmly congratulated the staff and introduced them to the Presidium family. PRESIDIANS SPREAD THE GOODNESS OF THE FESTIVAL OF BAISAKHI
The wonderfully cheerful festival of Baisakhi marks the foundation of the Khalsa Panth by the 10th Holy Guru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. His golden words convey: ‘Sat suroop satgur da dhyaan dharmna’; which means to contemplate and turn your thoughts towards the true enlightener. He started the ‘Order of the Pure’ or the Khalsa on this day. His noble teachings spread the message of unity and oneness of faith. This festival also marks the beginning of the harvest season in India.
They also participated in exciting song, dance and skit performances and rejoiced with full vigour. Reflecting on the significance of the festival, Presidians celebrated the occasion and beheld his teachings in their hearts to believe in knowledge as the true enlightener and they should seek and assimilate it.
