The joyous festive season has begun and Presidians soaked in the spirit of Christmas at the ‘Christmas Carnival’, held at Presidium from 24th to 25th December. To cherish and to celebrate the festive glory of the festival, Presidians came together with their parents, teachers and friends. The fun game stalls put up by enterprising Presidians engaged the audience and their breath taking performances stole the show. The celebrations were a merry and cheerful experience for all.
Our talented young Presidian, Pia Khurana of Class VI B, from Presidium Indirapuram, has been selected as one of the lead characters for a Webseries named ‘V3’, produced by Children's Film Society of India (CFSI). Pia is an all rounder! She has done modelling for famous brands like Adidas, Nike etc. She has also been a part of serials like Savdhaan India, Gali Gali Sim Sim; and has been the Runner Up in Pantaloons Junior Fashion Icon, 2015. Pia is indeed taking Presidium’s vision, ‘be what you want to be’, forward. Soar higher, Pia!
On the occasion of the radiant festival of Christmas, Presidians came together to celebrate the festive season with their friends and teachers. The students came dressed in bright and beautiful red attires and performed a skit on the story of the ‘Three wise men-the birth of Jesus Christ’. They sang Christmas carols and participated in various club activities like poster making on Christmas theme, gift wrapping and Christmas decorations. They rejoiced over the spirit of sharing and spreading goodness together on this festival.
The Citation ceremony acknowledges the exceptional journey of the outgoing batch of senior students of a school. It is an occasion to bid adieu to them with wishes of success for their bright future. The Presidium Citation ceremony was held with great avidity and fervor to honor the students of Grade XII. Their hearts were filled with a sense of recognition as they received the blessings and words of encouragement from the Hon’ble Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. It was a heartwarming moment as they placed lighted diyas along the school logo and walked gracefully up the stage while their teachers read their citation. Every eye was filled with tears of pride and every heart prayed for them as they tossed their graduation caps in the air with a sense of determination to live up to the motto of their school-‘Be what you want to be’.
Presidians proved themselves yet again at the 12th Delhi State Sub Junior Taekwondo championship held at the Thyagraj Sports Complex, organized by the Taekwondo Federation of Delhi from 1st to 4th December. Our champs participated in Individual Sparring and Self Defence Routine Competitions and gave winning performances in both. Out of 4044 participants from 111 schools and 24 clubs of Delhi NCR, Presidium made us proud by winning first position in the 3 to 6 yrs age category.
Presidians have always backed the delightful special children of Sparsh. When it was time to celebrate and glorify their special abilities on the World Disability Day at Thyagraj Stadium on 4th December, 2016, they could not contain their excitement. With best wishes and sunny smiles, the splendid students of Presidium went to make this day even more special for their beloved friends at Sparsh. They not only emphatically cheered for their performances, but also enlivened the occasion for the special children with their presence.
It's yet another proud achievement for Presidium Dwarka 16B. They just bagged second position in the State Level One Act Play called 'Jeevan Chakra' on the theme 'respecting our elders'; while competing against 12 other teams across the state, each representing their district. Our talented young students gave an impressive performance at the event, held on 21st November and charmed everyone with their acting prowess. Way to go, Presidians!
When Sparsh students came visiting with a grateful ‘thanks’ in their hearts for the generous contribution made by Presidians, they were welcomed with warmth and love, at Presidium. Sparsh students were truly thankful for the contribution made and they conveyed their appreciation to Presidians who were sincerely humbled by the gesture.
