Mrs. Gupta believes that “To create an extraordinary life for our future generations, the education system and schools need to adopt the 'Curriculum for Being' and focus on emotional development in children”. As teachers lay the foundation for students' future, educating them on the concept of curriculum for being is the path towards enhancing the emotional quotient of students. With the belief that emotional strength is the mother of all life skills, an enriching workshop was conducted by her for the Presidium teachers, wherein, she highlighted that positive attitude and emotional strength will define the ability to stand strong through challenging times in life and also open the possibility to put to use the learnt skills to deal with situations. Living life with an optimistic outlook and 'never give up' approach can bring remarkable results. She further shared her five powerful mantras to accomplish that very 'positive attitude'.
During the session, the teachers agreed that “self belief and the attitude of 'I Can' play a greater role than IQ. Life has its ups and downs, but no matter what, emotional strength is the key to emerge triumphant. The mantras proved to be magically inspiring for the teachers and a treasured knowledge bank that they would pass on to their students year after year to help them achieve their highest potential.
